Being raised by a nurse, and a carpenter, in St. Augustine, FL, Kelly was taught to help people and make a difference in her community. Inspired by her parents ability to positively impact people’s lives, she wanted to continue their legacy by going into the medical field and building her own business. After earning her bachelor’s degree at New York University, Kelly earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She immediately had an interest in pelvic health and received her Pelvic Health Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association. For the past eight years Kelly has been treating men, women, and teenagers through outpatient Orthopedic and Pelvic Health clinics in central Florida.
During Kelly’s first pregnancy she realized the lack of access to perinatal education and fourth trimester support. By combining her extensive formal education, and personal motherhood journey, Kelly has created a physical therapy platform entitled “Frankly Pelvic” that is accessible to all individuals. Kelly is inspired to empower families to take charge of their own health and provide solutions to wherever one may be on their wellness journey.
Kelly lives in Altamonte Springs, FL with her husband, Jim, daughter, Penelope, and son, Carson. If Kelly isn’t on the water, she is cooking with her family or at the Disney parks with Minnie & Mickey!
“My goal as a physical therapist is to create a safe space to heal, educate, and advocate for physical, mental, and emotional health.” – Dr. Kelly Frank
