I was really nervous about starting pelvic therapy because I had no idea what it was, and let’s be honest — it sounds scary. When I met Kelly for my first session, she was warm, caring, and professional and took her time explaining everything. Most importantly, she centered my needs and helped me feel comfortable and confident about attending. I have complex medical needs, and she’s been so knowledgeable and helpful in navigating them. I highly recommend her for pelvic therapy, whether this is your first time or whether you’re changing providers.

Dr. Kelly Frank

"My goal as a physical therapist is to create a safe space to heal, educate, and advocate for physical, mental, and emotional health."

Being raised by a nurse, and a carpenter, in St. Augustine, FL, Kelly was taught to help people and make a difference in her community. Inspired by her parents ability to positively impact people’s lives, she wanted to continue their legacy by going into the medical field and building her own business. After earning her bachelor’s degree at New York University, Kelly earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She immediately had an interest in pelvic health and received her Pelvic Health Certification from the American Physical Therapy Association. For the past eight years Kelly has been treating men, women, and teenagers through outpatient Orthopedic and Pelvic Health clinics in central Florida.

During Kelly’s first pregnancy she realized the lack of access to perinatal education and fourth trimester support. By combining her extensive formal education, and personal motherhood journey, Kelly has created a physical therapy platform entitled “Frankly Pelvic” that is accessible to all individuals. Kelly is inspired to empower families to take charge of their own health and provide solutions to wherever one may be on their wellness journey.

Kelly lives in Altamonte Springs, FL with her husband, Jim, daughter, Penelope, and son, Carson. If Kelly isn’t on the water, she is cooking with her family or at the Disney parks with Minnie & Mickey!

My experience with Dr. Kelly has been one of the best. Initially, I was very nervous to start therapy, but Kelly's warm, comforting, friendly nature made the whole experience very positive! Apart from her bubbly personality, Kelly is an expert in her role. Her knowledge ranges from anatomy and physiology to nutrition, exercise, and the impact of mental health on our bodies. I can say that she truly treats the mind, body, and soul. What I love most about Kelly as my physical therapist is that she thinks outside the box when treating her patients and connects the dots to help solve the overall problem. Additionally, she gives me 100% of her time and attention during our sessions. I am proud to say that we have made incredible progress in just a few months!
